"In the Kleinbasel district, a new home for the renowned jazz department of the Fachhochschule Nordwest schweiz was built according to the plans of Buol & Zünd and supported by foundation funds. The architects created a romantic ensemble of old and new buildings grouped around an open inner courtyard. Reinterpreted elements from the traditional vocabulary of architectural history lend the interiors a harmonious atmosphere, while the concealed technology ensures the best possible working conditions."
