Propaedeutic course
First semester at fatuk, the architecture department of the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University in Kaiserlautern. It starts every October with the official first semester welcome for all degree programs by the university leadership. You will then get to know fatuk and start your first week at the department.
Start of studies
The semester at fatuk starts in October with the propaedeutic course for all first-year students of the bachelor's and diploma degree courses in architecture.
This preliminary course is not compulsory, but makes it easier to start studying architecture and helps to gain initial experience and make contacts. We are therefore looking forward to welcoming numerous participants. In addition, the student council of the architecture department organizes various events so that you can get to know the campus, the city and, above all, your fellow students better.
The propaedeutic course is all about starting "hands-on" with a practical example. In addition to drawing and planning, you will also get hands-on and attend the workshop course.
