TOP 5 - List "Make a wish: My TOP 5 "Lecturers for the winter semester 2016/17"" of the students and academic staff of the Architecture department at TU Kaiserslautern
Building on the previous "TOP 5" list of small and large houses, book recommendations as well as cities, squares and rooms, the third edition of the "TOP 5" list is now being published with the preferred guests for the upcoming lecture series in the winter semester 2016/17.
Creating lists, now called rankings, is a very old cultural technique. At first glance, they "appear to be completely arbitrary and colorful. But it is precisely this apparent lack of logic that makes it possible to depict the balance of power that is at work in a society. "*
The aim of this list is to objectively filter out the best lecturers for the coming semester through possible multiple entries, which we do not intend to do, in order to obtain as representative a picture as possible of the current trends in the department as a whole.
