Application procedure at ERASMUS partner universities
If, after consulting with us, it is clear that you are not only interested in a stay abroad, but would also like to apply, then you must first register via the ISGS Mobility Online database and upload the necessary documents for the application process.
You can use the platform to check the status of your application at any time and, for example, submit any missing documents. In the new application process, you can also specify several desired partner universities, which we will then allocate to you depending on the availability of places ("first come - first serve" principle).
Before your stay, you should clarify in good time which language skills are mandatory for your stay so that you can take a language course if necessary.
Once your stay has been confirmed by the partner university, you must submit the "Learning Agreement" with the courses you wish to take at the partner university. Please note that partner universities now require a minimum number of ECTS credits to be completed.
INFO: In addition to Germans and nationals of a country participating in the programme, nationals of third countries who are completing a (full) course of study in Germany leading to a recognized degree have also been able to participate in the ERASMUS programme since 2010/11. Exchange students are not eligible for an ERASMUS grant.
